After releasing a slew of mixtapes for free and independent albums in the last few years, Curren$y dropped his major label debut, Pilot Talk, yesterday. The album title became a Trending Topic on Twitter yesterday and remained in the iTunes Top 10 Albums overnight. Ski Beatz handles most of the production for the record, creating a sound and feeling, along with Spitta, that is perfect to spark one to. And even though he wasn't able to burn one (or five or ten, as he probably would've liked) when he came through for last week's Channel Live, Curren$y checked in with XXLMag.com on the day of his album's release to tell the people what he would have been blasting while blazing, had he got his way. JETS.

OutKast "Crumblin' Erb"
Released on the ATL duo's 1994 debut, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, this anthem was an early indication that Kast would put out some of the smoothest and funkiest music in hip-hop over the next decade-plus.

Dubb Union "Dippin Thru!!"
These Snoop Dogg affiliates, comprised of Soopafly, Damani, and Bad Lucc and originally known as Western Union, represent the left to the fullest. This banger is from their 2008 debut, Snoop Dogg Presents: Dubb Union.

Max B "Why You Do That"
This joint from is a perfect indication of the talents that hip-hop misses from Biggavelli as he currently serves 75 years in jail for a robbery conviction.

The Notorious B.I.G. "Me & My Bitch"
From his 1994 debut Ready To Die, Big displays his incredible skills and versatility on this storytelling track.

Snoop Dogg "Think About It"
Off of 2006's The Blue Carpet Treatment and backed by a mellow old school sample and jazzy drum kicks, this track reminds us why Snoop is a king in this weed smoke game.

Ghetto Mafia "In Decatur"
From the duo's fourth and final album, On da Grind, this 1998 jam reminds us of the type of hits Atlanta musicians were giving us in the late 1990s.

Devin the Dude "Doobie Ashtray"
If Snoop is the West Coast king of this game, then Devin's gotta be the one wearing the South's crown. DJ Premier heads back to his home state as he gets up with The Dude for this classic joint. What you gonna do when you wanna smoke weed but the reefer's all gone?

DJ DMD "Mr. 25/8"
This Port Arthur, TX native left his mark with this laid back ode to the grind. Call him Mr. 25/8.

Snoop Dogg "Gz Up, Hoes Down"
Before it was a hot line, he made it a hot song. This bonus cut off of Snoops 1993 debut, Doggystyle, remains one of his most beloved records.

OutKast "Mainstream"
The ATLiens second appearance on the list fittingly comes from their second album, ATLiens. After handling all of the production on OutKast's debut, Organized Noise blessed most of the duo's second album with their uniquely smooth touch, including this Khujo and T-Bo assisted cut.

Jamiroquai "Space Cowboy"
This is the only non-rap song to make the cut, and, shit, you can't really argue.
