Eric “Eazy-E” Wright passed away 12 years ago after succumbing to the AIDS virus. His legacy and influence, however, is still felt today. As one of the founding members of N.W.A, Eazy was one of the pioneers of gangsta rap. Through his work with N.W.A and his solo material, Eazy introduced the entire world to struggles minorities in Los Angeles faced everyday.
