Cossell was a true innovator in the boothe, but despite all the greatness his slow drawl wasnt fit to be a play-by-play announcer...No one can call a game like Marv Albert. I miss the days of NBA on NBC with him calling the big games. Keith Jackson is Mr College Football...


This is not an accurate question. Cossell was an "analysis", not a play-by-play announcer. Keith Jackson is a play-by-play announcer, so is Marv Albert. There is a difference.
