I got this info from nba.com....I get daily emails...it reads...

2. 'Zo Likely To Return To Heat
In the MIAMI HERALD, Dan Le Batard writes that "it looks like Alonzo
Mourning is returning to the franchise he never should have left. In
other words, Good Mourning, Miami." It's "a no-lose proposition. As in,
Miami won't be doing no losing. Mourning wins. Pat Riley wins. Stan Van
Gundy wins. Shaq wins. And everyone else in the Eastern Conference keeps
losing." What "Miami needs is more size and strength" and that's
exactly what "Mourning provides."

Yea I think he has enough to be the 15 minute force he needs to be. Not a startin center...but like Mutombo does..he's that force that you still have to respect.

But Mutombo is a well respected Shot Blocker, Zo isn't.

Yeah but skills diminish.

Ewing wasnt a good scorer anymore his last seasons.

Neither was Olajuwon.

What makes you think a player of Mournings injury history would do any better?

I agree wit everything negative being said....my point is....all that he did was in a STARTING roll. All he has to do is go out there and play his HARDEST for like 15 minutes a night dawg...vs 35 minutes! That's the difference that leads me to believe that he will still be a respectable force....also speaking of MASSIVE CAREER INJURY....keep in mind that a man of that description is playin and STARTING in the All-Star Game. It DRIVE that keeps it goin dawg. Not the hurdles. 15 minutes of play....he will be a very nice addition. Just watch.

I bet you a chocolate milk he'll flop.

Besides a ankle injury is WAYYYYYY different then w/e Mourning had, I forget, kidney transplant if i'm not mistaken.
Enigma
I happen to have TWO chocolate milks RIGHT HERE AS WE TYPE!!!! LMAO

You right...different injuries. OK same one then...Sean Elliot. wink.gif All I'm sayin is he ain't as washed up as y'all makin dude...hell he scored like what 20+ a couple games he played this year. He can still do what he needs to...especially for 15MINS...that's the thing to focus on. Nobody askin him for 25-30mins...although he HAS played that long in games this season already.

Lol iight we'll see how good he'll do, but they better off having Doleac play the minutes IMO.
Enigma
He'll probably help out on the PF postion to draw the opposing PF out the box...and allow Shaq/Zo to rebound. He won't just sit. If he does then they stupid and/or think they SO GOOD they don't need'em.
