Sup yall, heres my early Mock draft.....
1. San Francisco - Since Leinart is not there, everyone is saying Alex Smith from Utah. I think he is good, but he's too happy on the feet in my opinion. If they dont trade the pick, they should get Aaron Rodgers from Cal. I think he's a more polished QB more ready for the pro game.
2. Miami - The Phins NEED a good, young QB to build around and it should be between Rodgers or Alex Smith.
3. Cleveland - The Browns STILL dont have a proven standout RB and picking Ronnie Brown would make sense. Plus I think he's better suited for Jeff Garcia's rolling out ability to throw the ball in their offense.
4. Chicago - If Ronnie Brown is off the board, I think Chicago should get Cedric Benson. Benson is that strong, durable back that Grossman needs to keep the pressure of him while he continues to learn.
5. Tampa Bay - Cadillac Williams would give the Bucs that speedy, inside and outside threat that they need to become more explosive, especially with the emergance of last year WR rookie Clayton. They could be a nice pair for years.
6. Tennessee - The one thing that McNair has sorely missed has been a big-time threat at WR and he could finally get it with Mike Williams. This pick could put some life back into his passion to throw the ball.
7. Oakland - Texas LB Derrick Johnson is a cant miss pick at #7 for the Raiders. His speed, athleticism and nose for the ball could be an intimidating force in the Raider D.
8. Arizona - drafting Virginia's TE Heath Miller could round off Arizona's receiving corp nicely and make them a legitimate threat in the passing game.
9. Washington - Oklahoma DE Dan Cody could be the outside threat that Redskins lack on the defensive line. Also, Cody could take more pressure off Lavar Arrington to roam more and make plays.
10. Detroit - The Lions already are loaded with good young offensive weapons, and since there is no OL worthy of a top ten pick, they should go defense by picking CB Carlos Rodgers from Auburn. Rodgers and Boss Bailey making plays on defense would be good.
*PICKING 11th is my Cowboys* - Since the top two QB's would most likely be off the board by now, I think we should pick Braylon Edwards from Michigan. Now I know we need defensive help (particulary at DE and CB) , but Edwards could give us that big-time threat at WR we havent had since Irvin. We need scoring ability first, then we'll shore up that defense with latter picks.

I willing to bet that Benson is the first RB drafted, even though Ronnie Brown will be a better pro in my opinion. also Antrel Rolle will be the first CB taking

1. San Francisco: Alex Smith or Aaron Rogers whoever looks better in the NFL Combine. I believe it should be Alex Smith.
2. Miami: Cedric Benson, is a similar running back to Ricky Williams, in terms of size and power.
3. Cleveland: Aaron Rogers, Browns really need a QB. I don't think Garcia will be back.
4. Chicago: Derrick Johnson, a running back is a great possibility, but to me I think they already have enough RB with Thomas Jones and Anthony Thomas. LB like Derrick Johnson don't come out very often and Johnson and Urlacher could be a great combination.
5. Tampa Bay: Mike Williams, My team the Bucs had a very bad year, but at least we finally get a high draft pick. Jon Gruden should go for offensive and also Mike Williams is from around the Tampa area. Mike Williams and Michael Clayton would be a great WR duo, and I think Gruden cannot pass that up. However, Gruden always does something dissappointing, and he might draft a RB like Carnell Williams or Ronnie Brown.
6. Tennessee: Alex Barron, The Titans already have a RB in Chris Brown. They really need someone to protect McNair.
7. Oakland: Antrel Rolle, Al Davis always makes picks that most people won't. I think Phillip Buchanon will leave, so they will get Rolle to replace him. One Miami Hurricane replacing another Miami Hurricane. I know Youngbloodz loves those Hurricanes players.
8. Arizona: Carnell Williams, The Cardinals have enough WR, and they desperatly need a RB. They have one of the best RB that ever played the game in Emmitt Smith, but they need some youth.
9. Washington: Marcus Spears, Really need help on the defensive line.
10. Detroit: Justin Miller, Very fast CB. Is a big play guy. Is very dangerous during kick off and punt returns.

Antrel Rolle is good, but I think Rodgers has better lock down skills

I have not seen Rogers played that much, but I know people have been saying he is really good. I think he won the award for best CB in the nation this year. But because I am a FSU fan, I know Antrel Rolle real well. This guy is like 6'1" so receiver cannot just leap over this guy. And also after I saw what Rolle did to FSU this year, I was like he is the best CB in the nation. Also, in 2004 when he shut down Larry Fitzgerald (who was the best WR in the nation) that just told me how good Rolle was.

I played football with Alex Smith and Reggie Bush in high school and Smith should go to the 49ers because he is getting a new coach that can indoctrinate his system on Smith. they both since they are new to their teams should work together on that system. Smith is very smart football wise and school wise.

Youngbloodz: You should change your team from Miami to FSU. LOL. Miami had a down year, but with all those first round draft picks, it was bound to happen. I think FSU will beat Miami this year though. They have to, it seems the last team we beat Miami it was in 1999. If FSU gets Xavier Lee to start at QB, we should have a pretty good team.
The 49ers could select Aaron Rogers because he seems like a very accurate QB and he played in a better conference than Alex Smith. The reason I like Alex Smith is because he can run. But I don't think they can go wrong with Aaron Rogers.

In a surprising change of attitude, Washington Redskins linebacker LaVar Arrington said he is accepting a role as a third-down defensive end and even indicated he shouldn't have bucked when Marvin Lewis played him there in 2002.
Arrington chafed two years ago when Lewis, then Redskins defensive coordinator, moved him from a coverage/run-to-the-ball role on third downs to a three-point stance.
Now he's needed back at defensive end. Washington picked up Phillip Daniels in free agency but still doesn't have a pure pass-rusher. Assistant head coach for defense Gregg Williams has been working Arrington at end in minicamp, and the three-time Pro Bowl pick is making the best of it.
"They want me to play defensive end — they want me to play defensive tackle — I don't care," Arrington said yesterday. "I want to win before it gets too late."

How YoungJT gonna talk about Jason White choking when everyone knows the biggest choking team is the Texas Longhorns. All they have to do each year is beat one team and they get outcoached on defense, offesnse, and special teams. And you think they have a shot at the Big 12, I predict they loose the first game against missouri, then they'll have their anual choke fest against OU, then Ohio State will get some too. I hope they enjoyed their only trip to the BCS.
Washington is gonna draft WR Braylon Edwards or TE Heath Miller. They need some real help on offense, another receiver lined up with Coles would help. Or to really make their offense run they need a quality tight end that can block and catch. Miller is the best tight end in the draft

What are talking about FSU got a decent defense. They had a top 5 rushing defense in the country. Their linebackers may be the best in the country with Ernie Sims at LB. ACC championship will be in sight for FSU since Chris Rix is finally gone.

Also, Heath Miller could be an option for the Redskins because last year, I think they said they were going to draft Kellen Winslow, but later they took Sean Taylor instead. Heath Miller is a good player, but I think a top 10 pick is too high for him.

Jason Campbell might be the sleeper of all the quarterbacks. If he can go to a similar system he played with at Auburn, I think he'll be a capable player.
