alot you internet rap niggas already know but heres the buisness. Most these new niggas, cats that aint been in rap since the 92's have a real scewed view. they look for the punchlines or the bangers. thats why alot niggas dont appreciate a nas or common as much as a fuckin solja boy or bootleg gucci main. if the nigga aint spittin punches like wayne and banks a few years ago, or the shit dont bang in the whip, they aint fuckin with it. so most of the music these days is directed that way. Chingy's and all that. with their ill spoil you like milk bars. so raps been fucked up. real fucked up. not only is these wack niggas gettin in the game, you wack niggas is makin it hot! so real, true hip hop heads revert to the underground or rock or internet or some other shit that wont make you look like a fruitcup in most situations.
so im honered to see that a real hip hop artist can actually stray the course and take hip hop back in time while still being current. Joe Budden's, i salute you my nigga. i met this nigga in the hood recently, for the first time even though i been bumpin his shit since way back. I actually have a hard copy of the niggas first cd. even then, i wasnt sure. but this niggas got me feelin him and actually listening to the WHOLE shit with this one. respect this niggas skills. this nigga is a standout. why do i post this here?
most rappers bars would be lousy here. horrible! type and rap is two seperate things. ill be the first to admit i aint the best "type" rapper, but live or in a booth, ill murder you on a beat. anyways, if you type this niggas shit, the only one even comin close is Lefty. i aint never even heard that nigga spit but lyric wise and always being able to rhyme "the right way", they similiar. Budden makes dope hip hop songs that also would be great typed out. Him, Em, Nas, Weezy sometimes, and maybe Fabo sometimes are the only mainstream artists to earn that award. this "mixtape" is fuckin crazy niggas. and if you cant appreciate that, you a semi-rap nigga.
