that song has so much meaning and energy to it. I may be a little tossed right now homie but I still want to talk to you young niggas if anyone wants to listen. That song brings out so much emotion in me. Does anybody realize that Lil Wayne went plat in ONE week. By todays industry standards thats nothing short of amazing. So I ask myself why? I heard an interview with 50 Cent today where he was asked the same question. His response was that he didnt understand it and implied that Universal bought copies to up his sales. But 50 is wrong. Lil Wayne is a working class hero. With all the bragging about the amount of money that he makes, spends and invests it is no secret why 50 is in the rap game. Money main. 98.9 percent of rappers comin in this game see dollar signs. Can I hate on that. Well yes, I can. Its these artists that have fucked up rap and its integrity. They dont truly appreciate the music, the artform, the emotion that a song such as this can ignite inside a person. Its been a long time since a hip-hop artist has truly put meaning ino an entire album. Lil Wayne dosent rap about worldy subjects like a Common or Nas would, and dosent tackle topics like a Green Day or other rock bands not scared to push the envelope. But what he does is truly show his fans that he lives and breathes music. Ever since I was a little ass baby, runnin around with toy cars and action figures, I have loved music. I listen to everything, and it is in this love where i have the ability to acknowledge an artist who truly shares that same passion. If rappers could make the same amount of money working at Blockbuster, those niggas would be there right now like "Thank you for calling Blockbuster this is Solja Boy". Weezy, on the other hand, would still be making music. We do this for the love of music, not for fans, money or even respect. I live music. I breath music. And it is sad to see the state that it is in right now. Obvious solutions stare us in the face and we refuse to stare back. My point is that most of you niggas dont realize the emotion and love that we have for making songs. It is our life. I am just ready. I can already see the hate that I will get when my work drops. Its soft, its RnB, its not real hip-hop. Its me. It music and how I want it to be reflected. Weezy just did that and the people took to it. That makes me happy, and has helped start to turn the frown that Ive held againt hiphop the other way. Believe in true music and stop bootlegging true artists. If you see that an artist has put his soul into the music, and you listen to it and enjoy it, go out and buy it as a way to say thanks. thats all

soon as your born you hittin the street
lookin for pride just a kid with his feet
when you need mom and dad
all you had was the crew
it happened to me did it happened to you
they lock us up for the shit they lead us to do
im a man is what they lead us to prove

a working class hero is something to be
a working class hero is something to be
im just glad that it happened to me

25 years drippin sweat for the game
and all that i get is a check for the pain
all the hard work that i put in this name
and the millions of people that look for the game
dont know the stress that puts on man
i just worked hard and took what i can

a working class hero is something to be
a working class hero is something to be
im just glad that i happened to me

my life started bad got better with time
but now i dont know which family is mine
my son is my life i live through his soul
but everyone else that ive given control
his thrown it back in my face
now i live in the hole
