I disagree. IMO, Jay got Nas on "Black Republican", but on "Success", Nas "Rakim-ed" this shit homie! Nas got the best verse by a long shot...

yeah we know that em had that verse first but what the nigga said after was the killer. niggas always kill me with that "he stole that line" shit. Didnt he already address that, wasnt the rest of the verses hard as a mufucker? aight then...it shouldnt matter if he used a few of ems bars. look at all the other rappers biting from jay. I.E. lil wayne, who got killed by jay like we all knew he would.

this is when Nas killed Jay
"Google Earth Nas, I got flats in other continents"
haha, how many of ya'll dummies went to google earth and tried to google Nas? i know plenty dummies who did
and Oh, Nas killed Jay on Black Republicans .
On "success", Nas summarized Jay's verse from Black Republican in two lines
Jay'z verse: Huddlin' over the oven, we were like brothers then
Though you were nothin' other then the son of my mother's friend
We had governin' who would have thought the love would end
Like ice cold albums, all good things
Never thought we'd sing the same song that all hoods sing
Thought it was all wood grain, all good brain
We wouldn't bicker like the other fools, talk good game
Never imagine all the disaster that one could reign
Could bring, should blame the game and I could
It's kill or be killed, how could I refrain
Forever be in debt and that's never a good thing
so the pressure for success can put a good strain
on the friend you call best, and yes it could bring
Out of the worst in every person, even the good saint'
and though we rehearsed it, it just ain't the same
When you put in the game at age sixteen
Nas summary of the whole verse in two lines:
:Worst enemies wanna be my best friends
Best friends wanna be enemies like Daz was in
simple and straight foward, "lets go Esco"

u know
"racist naybourz flinchin'/ they don't know whether im a rob 'em/ or i am Russel Simmons"

Jay Z bit that line from Eminem as Setsotama and streethistory said. That's pretty fucked up IMO! Nas definately took that song, and destroyed Jay with ether anyway. Jay has never been on Nas' level.

Nas may have ethered jigga some 7 years ago, but on 'Black republican' and 'success', Jigga outshined Nas
