Talib's new joint is surprisingly refreshing, a little more mainstream than his prior albums production wise... however the content is dope, beat selection is right... except for a couple of joints that are missteps like the UGK joint which is decent but not as dope as Real Women on UGK's tape I have to say that he goes in pretty hard on there. Stand out tracks include "Soon the New Day" with Norah Jones, "Give em Hell" with Lyfe Jennings and Coi Mattison, "NY Weather Report", and "In the Mood" with Kanye West and Roy Ayers. What do you think?

I think its a great album. Ny weather report, Hot thing, more or less, give him hell, bring the beat back.
Track for track its the best album of the year to me.

Personally, I think Talib's " Eardrum " album is dope from the beginning to end, especially the song " Eat To Live " His album sounds a hell of alot better than the extremely large majority of weed plates and ashtrays alot of these well-known and over-rated rappers are releasing these days.
