Next week i am giving a persuasive speech in regards to the penal system in particular my central idea is that i want to persuade my audience that the main objective of the titular institution should be to reform the indvidual and make him a productive citizen rather than to punish him simply for retribuitive purposes. Right now i have an abundance of resources im going through so that i can see how i want to structure my speech. I post in here because one good thing that i found about reading hip hop magazines was it increased my limited knowledge about the criminal justice. For this reason and because the element of crime has always had a history with hip hop community i felt that it was necessary for me make a post about it in case anyone is interested in discussing this issue because it affects so many young people in particular both Latino and black communities.
