i think vh1 is finally challengin' mtv for worst shows on t.v im surprised this shit hasn't been cancelled already. the only reason i did watch it is cuz i tought COCO was gonna be on it . but i guess not.

It's dumb as hell they tryna teach preppy ass white kids how to rap. What do they need to know it for? Do preps even know what rap is?

*sigh* rap is the most popular form of music world wide, i'm sure if you asked any of them kids who 50 cent or eminem is, they'd know..

but i have to agree.. shit is extra stupid man, ice t even said on pimps up hoes down that he's not really a rapper (even tho he really is), he's just pimpin vh1 outta some cheese and stayin on tv for a lil while longer, that's all.. he knows the shit is dumb.. i only watched that first episode after the hip hop honors, and i knew from that point i'd never watch the shit again..

i support anything that shows someone from one walk of life what it's like to stand in someone else's shoes. these kids will learn a lot from that show. plus the shit is entertaining.

but for real tho, where the fuck is coco at? she should be schoolin the girls on how to score a rapper

stupid asses thats the point of the whole show!! he don't teach them just how to rap he teaches them about rap!!! he takes the kids and teaches them the basics about who started it and tells them to rap about real shit you know ice is a real nigga he ain't gona have no preps talking about slangin' he tells them to rap about shit goin' wrong in their life and their personal experiences(don't forget rich people have problems too) he teach them about scratching and djin' and break dancin' not just rap it's a good show i've watched it a couple times it's what hip hop needs right now it ain't no mockery of the culture it teaches the kids about the culture of hip hop from the beginning to where it is now it's an education

so because i think the content of the show is dumb, i'm a stupid ass? i agree, the concept is great, educate those who'd know nothing of the roots of hip hop about what the culture really is, but thats just my opinion.. i think the shit is dumb.. there are just as many if not more inter-city kids that need to be educated on the origins of hip hop culture.. but real shit, ice t is pimpin vh1..

Please. It's not like if they don't know where hip hop came from they won't get into college. If they truly wanna know about hip hop, they can go on the enternet and find out. Ice T is probably more into it for VH1, not because he truly cares what the kids think of it. If that was the case they wouldn't have turned it into a reality show.

like i said it's an education to people who normally wouldn't know shit about rap it ain't got shit to do with anything else!

i been gining vh1 propz for a while on actually making shows that was based on formation of hip hop (not just rap the past year) but this shit really sucks ass with hairs on it dying for the last mach 3 on da shelf
