Jon B: i think he is def better than Usher.....this guy is awesome....but sadly.....underrated
Q Amey: am i the only one who loves this guy??? even though he got a nice production team [ CornaBoyz] everyone sleeps on him smh......
V : everyone who loves Dwele, Raheem DeVaughn, Musiq should get Vs ~ The Relevation is now televised...great album...
Omar: actually from UK.....an idol to many musicians [ even to Stevie Wonder, Common, Erykah Badu] but so unknown overall....shame , it's a shame cuz this guy is so talented
Jaguar Wright: another female who writes her own songs and can sign...
Donell Jones: why do pple name Usher, damn even Mario when it comes to R&B but hardly anyone mentions Donell....
Montell Jordan: yes i'm gonna say it...Montell sons R kelly....Montell is the man, Montell got the voice, his songwriting abilities and is no pedo lol....
I'll be back later with some more....

Brooke Valentine - her album was original and she was slept on like a muthafucka. I hope her new single does better.
India.Arie - she gets recognized sometimes but she should get more publicity becuase she's so original, real, and she's bringing real soul back.
Keshia Chante - she's probably big in Canada but her hits in America don't do so real. Ever since I've heard her song "Bad Boy" I thought she was talented but nobody really talks much about her.
Jhene - she's only noticed by B2K fans. She was suppose to have her first album in 2003 but it's been pushed back so many times it hasn't even really been released yet and people never aired her video on TV. Now that's a mutha.
Tyra - her only big hit was "Country Boy." "You Can't Get No Ooh Wee" didn't do shit for her. She came out with "Country Boy" in the beginning of 2005 and she still ain't got her album released yet.

Shawn Desman!!!! yes sure he released some gay songs like ~ let's goooo~ but I met him last year and damn he can sing
and he is cute and he can dance and his nice...ok I stop...but yeah Shawn is better than Usher....
J Shin: i love his first album, his second is crap but his first album.....pony ride is all i say...
Case: another talented male artist who got pushed aside for Mr Mustache Ginuwine
Sam Salter: great singer and songwriter
Reel Tight R&B group who were produced by Warren G, seriously great kinda like Next...

Esthero - "Wikked Lil Grrrls" is a dope azz album. Check it out!
Adriana Evans - An amazing vocalist out of the Bay Area. She only released one album, back in '97, but her true fans -- me included -- are still waiting for another.
Goapele - Need I go on?
Jazzyfatnastees - Not taking anything away from Floetry, but they ain't got shit on these girls.
Robin Thicke - Fuck Justin Timberlake!
Remy Shand - Another "white boy with soul" who kinda got lost in the sauce back in 2002 while Justin Timberfake was out exploiting his "ghetto pass". You could blaze with your girl, crack a bottle of wine, put on his album, "The Way I Feel", and it sets the evening off perfectly.

I also must add Oobie. Home girl has such a beautiful voice and the only time I really heard her was on Lil' Jon's album, "Kings Of Crunk." I really wish somebody would push her.
Also White Boy should have did a little better with his CD too. I liked his song, "Can't Get Out The Game." It's funny that he calls himself White Boy when he's black though.....

Remy Shand had a tight song called " Take a Message " that I liked. The remix to his song " Rock Steady " that featured Smokey Robinson was dope as well.
Raheem DeVaugh - Cats are sleeping on his CD " The Love Experience " His song " Guess Who Loves You More " is DOPE!!
Amel Larrieux ( the chick from Groove Theory ) Her debut CD "Infinite Possibilities " was so slept-on, it shouldve been considered a sin.
Jaguar Wright - She Killed it when she performed with Jay-Z during his UnPlugged special. Her debut CD " Denial, Delusion And Decisions" is still banging!
Kindred The Family Soul - Married couple who's first CD " Surrender To Love " went so unoticed its criminal!!
Glenn Lewis - His CD " World Through My Window " was slept-on! He sounds a little like Stevie Wonder. Check out his song " And Dont You Forget It "
Jill Scott - Jilly from Philly can sing better than 99.9% of the female singers out right now. Even though she's not embraced by urban radio and BET doesnt play her videos like they should, both of her CDs quietly went double platinum.

Eric Benet - Just because he cheated on Halle Berry doesnt take away from the fact that he truly is a talented singer alot of people have never even heard of.
Songs by Eric Benet to check out....
" Can We Stay Together " " Spiritual Thang "
" Femininity " " Love The Hurt Away "
Angie Stone - Another singer who can almost sing circles around almost every popular R&B singer in the spotlight right now. ALL of her albums have been slept-on! Her duet with Calvin Richardson " More Than A Woman " is tight as hell!!
Rashaan Patterson - Remember the black kid from the show Kids Incorporated? Well, he's been releasing banging ass music for a long time and no one is listening to it!!!!

Rhian Benson - Glad to hear she's back in the studio.
YahZarah - First album really got overlooked.
N'Dambi - Another former backup singer for Erykah Badu who got overlooked
I'm surprised no one mentioned Leela James yet.
Imani Coppola - More of a Rock edge but she writes the dopest songs
Res - I'm patiently waiting for a new album from her
Kenna - Singer/musician outta Cincinnati. His first album, "New Sacred Cow" (mostly produced by the Neptunes), was dope. He was actually dicovered by Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit.
LaToiya Williams - A true throwback Soul vocalist. It's a crime they haven't released her album yet. "Fallen Star" and that song she did with Anthony Hamilton, "My First Love" is my shit!
Joi - I seen her in concert in Orlando a few years ago. That woman is amazing!

Bilal - Eclectic singer who's been doing his thing for a while. His debut CD " 1st Born Second " was definitely slept-on! " Reminisce " featuring Common & Mos Def is tight jam to listen too.
Les Nubians - Super fine singers who sing in French but sill come out with banging ass music. Their rendition of " Sweetest Taboo " featuring the Roots is a good song! " Princesses Nubiennes " their debut CD was slept-on!
Heather Headley - Tony award winning actress thats been blessed with a beautiful voice. Both her debut and latest CD are being slept-on! " In My Mind " is a banging ass slow jam!

Javier - Both his debut and his latest CD " Left Of Center " are slept-on! People should wake up and check out his song " Crazy " and " Beautiful U R " from his self-titled debut and " Count On Me " feat. Anthony Hamilton from his new CD!
Slyeena Johnson - Another female singer that can out-sing almost every popluar female singer thats taking up space in the limelight into oblivion. ALL three of her CDs are slept-on! Its a damn shame that this Chi-town siren has yet to recieve the recognition that she deserves!!
