Grime music made an impact in the UK but if your claiming to be a New Yorker you should know that that style of music is going un-noticed not only here in New York but everywhere else in the States. If people were paying attention to any of those artists that you named, they'll be getting constant radio spins and their videos would be all over BET and MTV.

i remember reading chris rock's top 25 rap album list and dizzie rascal's boy in da corner was in it. i'd recommend anyone to buy it, as it is a raw album. the only problem i can see americans having with the album is simply understanding the way that we scopeak, it may be too fast and too confusing. with lady sov, the girl jigga signed, i bump her music too, although she's not as lyrical. the grime beats are amazing, and as rascar sed, the Eskimo sound that wiley perfected, im sure, would be a big hit in New York, but probably also the south, where they are more open to different music.

But i do disagree on the Kano tip man, i like him, i know he aint great but i like hi personality and presence, thought his album was pretty solid
