In fourth grade i read a book called "40 Acres and Maybe A Mule", lol that book made me cry...

Where The Red Fern Grows
Crime And Punishment
I read "The Prince" and although i had to look up 90% of the words in a dictionary, it was good.
The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley was also very good i learned ALOT.
Of course the Da Vinci Code. cool.gif

nick has a cousin named daisy whose husband tom cheats on her with murtle
gatsby throws diddy type parties all tha time for 1 reason
its turns out gatsby and daisey dated but he was broke back then
gatsby throws paties to impress her cause hes rich now
nick sets up a meeting between gatsby and daisy
gatsby n daisy fall back in love
tom finds out and tells daisy gatsby is a bootlegger
when driving daisy runs over murtle
gatsby says he did it
tom tells murtles husband
murtles husband shoots gatsby then himself
the end...



n my favorite book is hamlet, that shit is hella lyrical...

Man I've read never die alone, that shit is BIG, really gritty I could just envision being there; i aint even brought myself to watch the film adaptation, cause i kno dmx hasnt done it justice.

And Iceberg Slim, was a "real" author too i've nearly just finished reading pimp.

I swear the way them books are written, is probo in some books cases more effective that the metaphorical methods used by other authors.

i dunno i dont keep up w/ them anymore, i use to when we had book fairs in junior high but i have about 8 different ones smile.gif

there the best i can read them over and over again and there still funny smile.gif

The Great Gatsby - incredible moral to the story.
The Shawshank Redemption - great book and film, recommended
The Lord of the Flies - beautiful imagery and tale of the evil that men (boys) do lol
Holes - a simple, brain-friendly book but good anyway
Wuthering Heights - incredible, emotional novel....plus Heathcliff is just irresistable lol
I like some of Shakespeare's plays eg. "A Midsummer night's dream", "The Merchant of Venice", "Julius Ceasar" etc..
