Where The Red Fern Grows
Crime And Punishment
I read "The Prince" and although i had to look up 90% of the words in a dictionary, it was good.
The Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley was also very good i learned ALOT.

Man I've read never die alone, that shit is BIG, really gritty I could just envision being there; i aint even brought myself to watch the film adaptation, cause i kno dmx hasnt done it justice.
And Iceberg Slim, was a "real" author too i've nearly just finished reading pimp.
I swear the way them books are written, is probo in some books cases more effective that the metaphorical methods used by other authors.

The Lord of the Flies - beautiful imagery and tale of the evil that men (boys) do lol
Holes - a simple, brain-friendly book but good anyway
Wuthering Heights - incredible, emotional novel....plus Heathcliff is just irresistable lol
