That's the same thing I thought too, but when you think about it, who holds more weight when it comes to sellin records: the fan-base you've built up over the years, or the fan-base you've just been introduced to. Unless they can make a panoramic hit (which they haven't in a while) they might well lose sales on this album. G-Unit's Platinum Track Record has been declining since Yayo.

As much as I believe 50's grabbin up as many "grounded" artists as he can (and by grounded I mean in touch with the streets) I can't make myself believe that this is all on some "gang" bullshit. People from NY know that Mobb Deep has been beefin in NY for years. Tigger asked them on Rap City when they were ever gonna stop beefin. They said they was always gon be in the mix. But regardless of their street involvement, them niggas is sell-outs. That new single that they got with Nate Dogg and 50 is trash. It don't even sound like Mobb shit. Havoc took street rap lyricism to a science and P was on some raw freestyle shit and they rocked over ill dark beats. But I just aint' tryin to believe they fuckin with G-Unit. I mean Nate Dogg and Mobb Deep can never go together even though Nate Dogg is a talented dude. That's like pure gritty East Coast rap mixed with life West Coast funk melodies.
