I really enjoy many of the post in this forum. For the sake of documentation, i choose to write about some of the info i know concerning several issues about Mr. 50 Cent.

This info is accurate and people in the music industry DO read these boards... you would be surprised!

I was working at Sam Ash music store (48th st ny ny) in 2000 with a co-worker named "Peter Panic". You may remember Mr. Peter Panic as one of the producers on Jay-Z's first album. Beyond what most believe about the music industry, Panic did not get rich off reasonable doubt and still worked at Sam Ash music store in 2000 still shopping his beats.

Peter didn’t show up to work for maybe 4 days, and we all was worried about him. Then about the evening of the 5th day (picking up his paycheck for previous week) i ran into him on 48th street. "What up kid, where you been dog?" I asked him. Before he can answer i noticed the top of his button up shirt was open (no homo) displaying a huge bandage near his lower neck. He then responded to me "yo I just been through some shit my nigga, i can’t talk about it but do you know the rapper 50 cent?" I told him "yeah, the nigga that keep getting shot and the nigga the whole industry wants to kill" (you’re saying: "ha this nigga is full of shit, 50 got shot 9Xs after the stabbing!!!! Just shows you don’t know the whole story and ill explain further down!)

Understand something... and it kills me how soon many people have forgotten.... by spring of 2000, every rapper named in the song "how to rob an industry nigga" had a grudge against 50. So much light is placed on Murder Inc. personal street related beef, but you have to realize EVERY RAPPER'S CREW NAMED IN THAT SONG WAS OUT TO KILL 50 CENT!!!! Murder Inc became well respected by all other rappers in the game for being the ones that actually touched him. 50 at that time was looked at and treated as an outcast and someone you as a fan didn’t need to care whether or not he lived or got killed. Listen to the end of Ghostface killer's Supreme Clientele album. "niggas is goin to get you 50, that was some bullshit you did nigga" how soon we all forget!!! In 2000 you always heard about "this or that" rap crew seeing 50 at some club or venue and shooting at him! a lot of times this happened! In one of these situations Terror squad did some shooting (understand why there’s beef now?) Ruff Ryders did some shooting also. These shootings were before this stabbing incident. He also was shot in the leg at some point before year 2000 events. Remember, in 2000 50 cent was a struggling artist on Columbia records with a buzz from "how to rob an industry nigga", he was not a hip hop superstar. Every time a shooting or an incident happened to 50 cent, i remember always saying "damn, its only a matter of time before he's dead, shouldn’t have made that song"..... , ok continuing on....

Panic then says "you know some people, ask around about 50 cent and just know I was there, so for legal reasons I cant talk about it!"

He was right and I did run into someone who was there in the studio that night and was told all the details.

In 2000 i was doing side work in a record label and ran into Mr. Rich Nice. Rich Nice was a part of the Trackmasters and at the time an A&R for Columbia Records, and 50 Cent was his artist.

"Yo Rich, What’s up my nigga, ran into Panic dog what happened" I said. "Yoooooo, shit is crazy man" he said.... he continues "Don’t tell anyone about this, bust it, we was up in Hit Factory, me, 50 Cent, one of his boys, and Peter Panic was doing a beat for him. They just made these small studio rooms for writing and midi production so we wasn’t in one of the bigger rooms. Then i look up and i seen Irv Gotti looking in through the small door window. Then i see Ja Rule looking in. All of a sudden my nigga, 10 niggas rushed in and turned out all the lights in the room, you couldn’t see shit, all you can hear is mad fighting going on in the room. I got hit with a chair twice and was almost knocked out. Then you hear equipment being thrown and niggas saying "This is Murda nigaa, WHAT WHAT" then i heard several voices yell in pain "Oh Shit i got cut" "fuck yall niggas" then suddenly somebody said "NIGGA WHERES THE GUN" (he's not sure who said that) once that was said, they all cleared the room. When we turned on the lights, the whole room was fucked up, 50 shirt was covered with blood from being stabbed in the chest and neck and weak from a collapsed lung. Peter Panic was stabbed in the chest and arms, bloody, and knocked out in a corner!" It was then explained to me that Murder Inc was in another studio on another floor and one of the people with them seen 50 in the building somehow.

Then a few months later, i heard 50 cent got shot 9 times in queens. I thought he was dead, and people were saying he survived. I thought he would be in a wheelchair or that he would keep getting shot at till he was killed. Columbia dropped him after this cause Murder inc was spreading the word that they will have beef with anyone who fucks with 50.

In 2002 i remember hearing that Irv Gotti called Dr. Dre to Intimidate him into not signing 50 like they have did to so many other labels at the time. He told Dre something like "yo that kid 50 is on our shit list and anybody who fucks with him will have beef with us!"

Dr. Dre laughed in his ear and told him "get the fuck outta here, ha ha ha ha" then hung up the phone on him.

Rest is history.

P.S. There seem to be a lot of people here that hate on 50 cent and I don’t understand why?? I would NOT trade my life with his and the things he’s been through to get his success and money. And his movie is being directed by an Oscar nominated director (my left foot) and being scored by Quincy Jones!!!! Um, I think you need to pay attention on how 50 cent is about to earn 200 million this year. Instead of hating, learn from someone that came from below the barrel to become not just the biggest rap artist but the biggest recording artist in the world this year PERIOD!!!!!!
