And I'm not tryin to make this sound like east coast rap fans are haters but thats just how i see it in my eyes ya dig

you know where im from. in fact, i recorded jeezy at an open mic my company held before he was famous and he got straight ignored because he is a wack rapper.
he switched it up by studying lil jon's playbook and now he is not a rapper, but a talented hypeman for the instrumentals.

Jeezy is ok, he's just well-known, like how Game was before he started rappin'

Yo I think on the mic he's kinda on the wack side. I am feelin the song with Akon and dude probably can get the crowd moving which is a big thing. But I think dude hit it on the head when he says he gets respect cause supposedly he was slangin major weight and the rap game is full of hustlers who respect that type of shit. I do like his ad-libs but really his lyrics are ass

If you think about it, you just summed up the whole rap game right there, everybody raps about that shit not just down south, but the only reason you here it a lil more from southern cats is cuz thats tha way of living down here just like east coast cats talk about sellin dope and how life is up there also, and how west coast rappers talk about how they live its all the same shit but its just said and portrayed in different ways depending on the region

Young Jeezy had good beats on his album and his flow is decent. His lyrics are garbage, but I guess the beat and his flow make a song sound a lot better. Also, I heard he is with the Black Mafia Family and they are some real gangstas, so that is why people might give him more respect. I'm not from Georgia, so I don't really know anything about Black Mafia Family, but that is just what I heard.

first of all, i'm from the UK, so i aint never gonna relate to candy paint, sizzurp or nothing, but thats the way it is here. I genuinely canmot think of anyone i know who feels his stuff. To be entirely honest with you , US rap is currently lower right now than ever here. Commons and Kanye's albums were the last ones we really anticipated, other than that stuff like Pretty Ricky, 50's new shit, they're really the nly stuff getting mainstream attention. Right now, its either the UK stuff, (US peepz gotta check out Klashnekoff, Mitchell Brothers, Kano & Roll Deep) and indie music.

Man Im telling you I miss the good old days. Remember you couldnt be wack on the mic and get any respect, and if you were wack you get thrown off stage?
I miss them days.

I really don't see all of the hype surrounding this dude. He's ok, but he sounds like T.I. from the "Trap Muzik" Lp with a gravel voice. Yeeeeeaaaahhhh! That's riiiigght!
