This album in my opinion is very strong. The beats are ridiculous, and not just Kanye Ridiculous, they top anything hes ever done before. You can really see how hes Elevated as a producer to. Look at "Hey Mama". Remember the first version of that song with the beat? And now look wat he did to the beat. Sum ppl. complained that the mastering of the CD was a little off, making the beats louder then the words, but i think it was fine. The beats are emphaized in certain songs, but in sum songs, the beat carrys it. Like "Crack Music". I didnt' like the song 2 much (shudda gave game a verse, like u shudda Luda!), but i'll still play it cause of the beat. Niggas done original stuff here with beats, adding elements towards then end of the song, jus playin the beat for a little, then comin bak on the track (OK, mite not be COMPLETLY original, but no ones done it like this before). The beats are so fluid that 2 or 3 songs seem like 1 song sometimes. Only thing i'm wandering though, the first and only track produced not by Kanye (Produced by Just Blaze) has the same feel as the rest of the album. So i'm wandering, did Kanye here that and then make the rest of the beats have that certain feel to it? Or did he tell Blaze "Yea, jus make it kinda sound like this"? An' i'll leave u wit sum lines from the album:
