I think that Chino could be a star like Jay if he had the right label backing him. He's got flows, lyrics, personality, and an interesting back story. His metaphors are iller than Jay's, I ain't gonna front. Here's some examples:

I base alot of how I rate an lyrist on Wordplay (Including metaphores) and flow (of couse). Jay has a great flow, but in my opinion he's not to witty. I really like Jay too, but he aint even on my top 25. Chino is one of the wittiest mother fuckers out AND he can REALLY freestyle. No offence to Jay-Z fans, but he is a writer. He writes the shit in his head, without physically writting it, which is admirable, but not freestyle. Any freestyle artist you see never needs more than 30 sec to feel a beat. Jay sits there for mad long in 'Fade to Black', and that was probobly edited footage too. I think you can call him one of The Greatest Buisness Men of All Time (For Hip Hop) because he makes incredibly wise buisness decisions. From signing artists, marketing and beat choices, but PLEASE stop saying is SUCH an amazing G.O.A.T. calibur artist. Start a thread about Rakim, Kool G Rap, Jurassic 5, Pharcyde, Mad Skillz and Royce da 5'9". These are all sicker artists, by far... in my opinion anyway.
