I'm going with personals, texceeing and emceeing ARE different but NOBODY watches a battle where the first dude spits and brutalises the opponent with blistering personals, then the second head talks shit but keeps 3 double-sillabled rhymes per bar and the audience be like "Hmm i was feeling (enter name here's) rhyme structure more so he's the winner" IMO...

In battles its all about da punch. da punch is da main thing. Personals and metas and wordplays they all work tagetha ta build a good decent punch. If you dont have none of these, you cant make a punch. So its all bout da punchs.
