He was apparently referring to shoot-on-sight orders issued to National Guard troops to halt violence and looting in New Orleans.

West also criticized the media's portrayal of blacks, saying: "I hate the way they portray us in the media. If you see a black family, it says they're looting. See a white family, it says they're looking for food."

In a statement, NBC, a unit of General Electric Co.,said, "Kanye West departed from the scripted comments that were prepared for him, and his opinions in no way represent the views of the networks

with his connections to oil companies he stands to make a lot of money since the price of oil will go up. And the only reason the price wil go up isn'nt because the cost of the oil is high(its still hovering at about $70 a barrell) but because demand is high and the supply doesn't amtch which will raise the price. But look up Nichola Tesla. He invented technonlgy that can control the weather. Such as make storms, droughts, and strengthen or direct existing storms. Some think the adminstration "sent" the storm to New Orleans (since 1/3 of the energy in the country is produced there)

Remember when the storm first started in Florida they said it would quickly disapate and turn into a tropical depression. Its very very very rare for such a weak storm (catergory 1) to traverse land and get stronger while doing so. Usually they move up the coast moved by the Gulf Stream. I'm not sayin this is what happened I'm sayin look up Nichola Tesla and Weather War fare, and then decide for yourself.
