I read this issue over and over. The piece on Jay Z was like reading the gospel according to the hip hop god. The man is a genius and his lyrics are real talk. Hova is the best rapper alive. I said alive! And it seems like the more people hate, the better his words flow. I almost passed out when I picked up my favorite magazine XXL (yes, it’s my hip hop Bible) and saw Jay-Z on the cover.
