I just coped the September issue and was a lil disturbed by New York rap article and im a tell u why,First off by labeling the music N.Y. Hip Hop completely seperates yourself from the rest of the music genre and how can that be, its 2 my understanding that Hip Hop is Hip Hop weither from California, ST.Louis,Atlanta,and or New York.Thats how the media(White media)is able to blow shit out of porportion such as the eastcoast/westcoast so-called beef,and a host of other Hip Hop music related issues. The bottom line is music is music and hot music sells(with the exception of some radio favorites), me im from Cali The Bay 2 be exact,but i grew up on everything from 36 chambers, 2 the geto boys, to local legends like too-short and cougnut(r.i.p), so lets get it together people and start seeing shit for what it really is.
