Rae Sremmurd and E-40 Star in Latest Trailer for ‘Madden NFL 18′

Just in time for the kick off of the 2017-18 NFL season, EA Sports releases today a new trailer for Madden NFL 18 called “This is the Year” to coincide with tonight's season opener. Featuring a slew of athletes and celebrities, the brand new visual showcases Madden's new gaming features as well as Madden's first-ever story mode.

The latest Madden 18 ad features NFL superstar Marshawn Lynch, hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, rapper E-40 and NBA stars James Harden and Chris Paul. Lynch and 40 Water pair up before rap duo Rae Sremmurd appear in the visual, sitting on a couch accompanied by a few people who are passed out, as they play the latest Madden 18 game. Slim Jxmmi then looks directly at the camera and says, "This is the year of overnight success," before going back to his game.

The Mississippi brothers have been super busy as of late with the Madden franchise. Most recently, the "No Flex Zone" rappers were guests at the Madden 18 launch event in New York City and performed a slew of their hits for the packed out venue while also testing out the new Madden 18 game.

It's a year of firsts for the EA Sports game, as Madden will debut on the Frostbite gaming engine, include their first-ever story mode in the game “Longshot,” and introduce MUT Squads, all of which add a brand new touch to the already-popular gaming franchise. Madden 18 is now available for purchase at select EA Sports retailers and accounts.
