Futura Teams Up With G-Shock for New Timepiece Collection

Legendary American graffiti artist, Futura and G-Shock team up for the third time around for a new limited edition set of timepieces. For this collab, both entities bring their signature aesthetics to the coveted watch line.

In commemoration of Futura and G-Shock's third collaboration launch both entities team up for the release of the GDX6900FTR-1 timepiece. Featuring original artwork by the legendary Brooklyn-based artist, the limited edition GDX6900FTR-1 comes designed with Futura’s signature Add Atoms pattern. This G-Shock will come equipped with 5 daily alarms, 12/24 HR formats, flash alert, stop watch and auto LED. As every G-Shock watch, the timepiece is 200M water resistant and shock resistant.

Futura gained fame in the early seventies, painting illegally on New York’s subways and working with artists including ALI. Today his work has evolved into the production of highly collectible toys and collaborations with brands from The Clash to Converse. The third collab between Futura and G-Shock will be available on Wednesday, June 1, at the G-Shock flagship store in New York and select G-Shock retailers worldwide and will retail for a suggested price of $180.
