Adidas and Taiwanese retailer Invincible unveil a high-performance functionality silhouette dubbed the Consortium 4D. Featuring the newest running technology from the Three Stripes, the sneaker comes equipped with the innovative Digital Light Synthesis.

The Consortium 4D features the world’s first high performance midsole with DLS. Created from light, air and over 20,000 struts, the sneaker maximizes control on energy return. Dressed in a light gray colorway and featuring a primeknit upper, the silhouette embodies the evolution of Adidas footwear.

Founded in 2007, Invincible has been the staple for Taiwan’s evolving streetwear scene for over a decade. Just last year, Adidas and Invincible teamed up to work on an iteration of the NMD R1.

Adidas will host a series of pop-ups this fall where the brand will showcase the Digital Light Synthesis technology with an art installation by Yao Chung-Han.

Look for the Adidas x Invincible Consortium 4D to release worldwide on Sat., Aug. 4. As of now, the price for the sneakers has yet to be announced by the Three Stripes, so keep it locked with XXL for more information on this and future Adidas releases.
