Jordan Brand will continue its push of the Air Jordan 3 silhouette this spring with the upcoming drop of the highly anticipated Air Jordan 3 Katrina. Made exclusively in 2005 for a charity auction helping Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, the silhouette's 2018 release will mark the first time the shoes will be available to the general public.

Set to launch worldwide at select Jordan Brand retailers, the Air Jordan 3 Katrina will feature a white premium leather upper with hits of gym red on the sock liner, midsole, lace locks, heel and Jumpman logo on the tongue. With black accents covering the Jumpman logo on the lace locks and heel, the sneakers also feature the signature elephant print graphic on the toe cap and heel to round out the sneakers overall look.

The 2018 version of the Air Jordan 3 Retro Katrina is scheduled to drop on Sat., May 12, at select Jordan Brand and Nike retailers worldwide as well as online at nike.com. Retailing for a suggested price of $190, the shoes will be available for a limited time only.

In related Nike news, Virgil Abloh and the Swoosh recently announced the release date of their collaborative Converse Chuck Taylor silhouette. Launching on May 10, the sneaker will be the last drop from Nike and Virgil's The Ten collection.
