Converse is teaming up with a number of influential figures and tastemakers from the Los Angeles area to create an exclusive collection for those helping to move the culture forward in the city of Angels.

Among those selected by the Boston-based footwear brand for this L.A.-themed collection is 24-year-old rapper Vince Staples, who recently shared the news on Instagram to tease both of his collaborative kicks.

Inspired by his latest album release, Big Fish Theory, Vince's shoes take cues from the project's artwork and theme with a fish tank displayed in the campaign photos. Unveiling images of a high-top Chuck Taylor silhouette in navy blue and orange as well as a low top Chuck Taylor in orange and black, the Compton MC gives his followers just a tease of what to expect.

Converse’s partnership project with L.A.’s top influencers will result in seven new collaborative silhouettes for the Converse brand. Also joining Vince for this collaborative release will be Dr. Woo, Rocket, BornXRaised, Clot and more.

Stay tuned for news on when Vince's new sneaker drops.
