Ahead of 2018's Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dog celebration, Japanese retailer Bape unveils a brand new capsule collection celebrating the annual New Year festivities of Chinese astrology. Set to release at the top of the new year, this Year of the Dog collection will be the first launch from A Bathing Ape in 2018.

Launching in men's sizes, the 2018 Bape Year of the Dog collection will feature a wide range of garments and accessories themed after the animal in the eleventh position of the Chinese zodiac. Compromised of a number of signature Bape pieces, the new collection includes—hoodies, crew neck sweaters, long sleeve shirts and tees.

Staying true to the traditional Bape aesthetics, the YOD collection features graphics of several different breeds of dogs standing next to key Bape figures like Baby Milo and the Bape gorilla head. Releasing in four primary colors—white, black, red and gray, the collection will mark Bape's first release themed after the Chinese zodiac.

The Bape Year of the Dog capsule collection drops on Sat., Jan. 6, at Bape retailers worldwide and online at bape.com.
