Today, Adidas presents the latest collaboration with Aberdeen-based retailer Hanon. Releasing in the weeks to come, the silhouette takes cues from the icy-cold climate of the port city in northeast Scotland, Aberdeen.

For the newest collab with adidas, the retailer takes inspiration from the ‘3-seasons-in-a-day weather’ known for its intemperate climate. The collaborative style introduces a re-work of the adidas New York classic runner to create a new interpretation and colorway which references the ever-changing Scottish skies.

The weather inspired re-work, takes a cue from the 1980s New York signature design distinctive for its classic ZX styling and mesh grill that wraps the midsole. Hanon’s “Dark Storm” color-scheme features broken sky graphics. Recreated in a bespoke jacquard woven pattern with a light-to-dark fade effect which is also applied to the midsole’s signature Dellinger webbing. Suede overlays give a premium look and feel to the exterior, while the soft leather interior and a central section of the sole provide optimistic flashes of Originals blue.

The adidas x Hanon shoes will pre-release on December 2 at Hanon and via hanon-shop.com. A general worldwide release for the kicks is set for December 9.
