Back in November of 2016, Nike introduced its first ever self-lacing sneaker with the debut of the HyperAdapt 1.0 silhouette. Looking to continue its push of the innovative sneaker, the Swoosh gears up to release a new colorway of the technically advanced shoe in an eye-catching makeup this fall.

Releasing in the days to come, the latest iteration of the HyperAdapt 1.0 features a sport royal blue mesh upper with hits of navy blue on the toe front and Swoosh branding. With black accents complementing the shoe's heel, a white colorway is added to the midsole of the kicks to give the pair a contrast hue. Decked out with LED lights on the heel and midsole, these Nike branded shoes light up when consumers use the self-lacing system.

Inspired by Marty McFly’s Mag shoes from the Back to the Future movie franchise, the first generation of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 includes electrical and mechanical engineering with Nike’s innovative Zoom Air unit.

Releasing this Sat., Sept. 30, the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0 Sport Royal Blue iteration will be available at select Nike retailers and accounts as well as nike.com. Look for the Swoosh to announce a price point for the shoes in the days to come.
