To help celebrate this year's Hispanic Heritage Month, Nike will release a special footwear collection paying tribute to the annual festivities of Latinos. Teaming up with young Hispanic street artists, the Swoosh presents an eclectic sneaker capsule featuring four of the brand's most popular silhouettes.

Nike's Los Primeros collection is compromised of four kicks—the Nike Air Force 1, Nike Cortez, Nike Air Max 1 and the Air Jordan 1. With each sneaker featuring its own unique twist, the Swoosh delivers a capsule that represents all Latin American cultures. Collaborating with Chilean artist, INTI, on the Nike Cortez, the artist and Nike create a black and purple sneaker with Latino symbols on the side panel of each shoe.

For the Air Jordan 1, Nike taps Brazilian street artist, Pomb for the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 E Tudo Nosso iteration. Another artist Nike collaborated on this project with was Chilean artist, Wasafu, who took the Air Max 1 sneaker and gave it a red, white and grey upper with ambiguous vector style art. The last sneaker to round out the Los Primeros collection is the Air Force Master Jaguar—a shoe in collaboration with street artist Saner, who took the classic silhouette and gave it a complete cheetah makeover.

Nike's Los Primeros collection will begin to roll out starting September 15 with the release of the Air Max 1 shoe. After that, the Swoosh will release the Cortez sneaker on September 22, followed by the Nike Air Force 1 on October 1. To close the collection's release the Air Jordan 1 will drop on October 13. Look for Nike to announce the price points of each shoe in the days to come.
