Puma’s creative collaborator and global ambassador, The Weeknd, has officially unveiled his first footwear collection with the German sportswear company. Inspired by military and utilitarian gear, the collection will consist of three drops with the first set to release in the coming days.

The first silhouette releasing from Puma and XO partnership will be dubbed as the Puma Parallel and will take cues from the signature boots used in military combat. The silhouette’s upper will be decked out in rich Italian nubuck leather and will feature Puma’s Ignite technology for a better cushioning system.

As part of the officially release info, Puma and the Toronto Starboy teamed up in Marfa, Texas to shoot the first campaign photos for the XO Parallel sneaker boot.

The Puma x XO Parallel is set to drop on Thurs., Aug. 24, at select Puma retailers worldwide including Kith, Barneys and The Webster, as well as online at puma.com. Look for the sneakers to retail for a suggested price of $220.
