Jordan Brand recently created a sample of the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette fusing two of its most popular Air Jordan 1 colorways. Combining the “Banned” iteration with the “Chicago” version, the brand has created a sneaker sample that’s being dubbed as the “Homage to Home” Air Jordan 1 Retro.

Splitting both versions of the shoe into one, Jordan Brand features the black and red colors of the “Banned” iteration on the lateral sides of the shoes while the white, red and black colorways of the “Chicago” shoe makeup the medial side of the sneakers.

Posting images of the unreleased sample onto the Nike's news social media account this morning, Jordan Brand provided very little information on the shoes—leaving many sneakerheads to wonder whether or not this pair will actually release in the future.

As of now, these Air Jordan 1 sneakers are just a sample pair for the brand, so there's no indication on a possible release for these shoes. In the meantime, keep it locked with XXL for more news surrounding future releases from Jordan Brand and Nike.
