One of the more innovative running sneakers from Nike's archive will make a comeback this summer as the brand gets ready to roll out a number of Flyknit Trainers in a slew of popular colorways.

Originally released in the summer of 2012, the sneakers were dropped in a wide variety of eye-catching colorways. One of the iterations to receive more acclaim than others due to its design and colorway was the Cookies & Cream model. Featuring a white base upper with hits of black on the toe front, Swoosh and midsole, the sneakers sit atop of a white midsole. Rounding out the shoe's overall look are hits of grey which are featured on the heel sock linear of the shoes.

It's been a few years since Nike has released a new Flyknit Trainer, so today's announcement already has sneakerheads anticipating this release. Set to drop on Thurs., July 27, this Nike Flyknit Trainer Cookies & Cream iteration will be available at select Nike Sportswear accounts nationwide. Look for Nike to announce the price point of the shoes within the days of the sneaker's release.
