Following this month's re-release of the Nike Air Max 2 Uptempo '94, the Swoosh looks to capitalize even more off of the silhouette as it gets ready to bring back the Nike Air Max2 Uptempo Max2 Madness in one its more prominent colorways.

Made famous by NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, the Nike Air Max2 Uptempo remains as one of the most acclaimed basketball sneakers made by Nike. Constructed of nubuck, mesh and a premium leather upper, the upcoming version of the shoes feature a white upper with hits of black on the tongue, sock liner, Swoosh branding and outsole. To complete the sneaker's look, Nike adds its signature Air Bubble unit on the heel of each shoe.

It’s been 22 years since Nike debuted the Air Max 2 Uptempo ’94. Since then, the brand has released the sneakers in an array of colors, with several new iterations from the brand inspired by the look of the basketball shoe.

The Nike Air Max2 Uptempo Max2 Madness is scheduled to release at select Nike retailers and accounts on Thurs., Aug. 3, for a suggested price of $140.
