While Drake has been one of music's most influential figures these past few years, the Canadian rapper has also been a vital figure in the shoe game as he's been known to be a frequent Jordan Brand and Clarks collaborator —even teasing some of the most anticipated and sought-after shoes from both brands.
Most recently, the "Portland" rapper had his followers gushing online over a pair of Friends and Family Kaws x Air Jordan Retro 4s. The week prior, Drizzy teased sneakerheads again with detailed photos of the the unreleased Air Jordan 1 Retro x Off-White. Providing an on-foot look of the shoes, Drake was one of the first rappers to receive the desired silhouette that was designed by Off-White owner Virgil Abloh. Posting several images of the kicks, Drizzy gave his followers a better look of the kicks than the previous images that were circulating around the web.
Signing with Jordan Brand in December of 2013, the "One Dance" rapper began to roll out his exclusive Jordan Brand kicks at the start of the Lil Wayne vs. Drake tour. Unveiling a set of collaborative Air Jordan 3s designed exclusively for the tour, Drake made his followers well aware of his strong ties to the Jumpman, and has even released to the masses several OVO collaborative iterations, that have sold out in matter of minutes.
