Adidas Unveils New NMD Styles for Summer 2017

Today, adidas Originals presents two new iterations of the NMD_R2 silhouette for the summer. Taking the canvas of the second generation NMD model, the Three Stripes creates a duo of understated color palettes and hues, for NMD users.

For the Three Stripes' latest release, the NMD_R2 model utilizes a circular knit upper for stretch and breathability featuring an engineered white noise graphic print. The shoes are then countered by a premium nubuck panel on the medial quarter and the NMD’s signature leather heel patch and pull tag. The finishing touches of the sneakers include tonal laces and a suede sockliner placed atop of the signature NMD BOOST technology with the NMD_R2’s asymmetric EVA insert on the medial side.

Releasing in two eye-catching grey colorways with tonal details, the result is two of the most dynamic adidas silhouettes in the NMD line. Launching globally at select adidas retailers and accounts, the two NMD_R2 silhouettes are scheduled to drop on Saturday, July 13.

In related adidas news, the German sportswear brand unveiled last week its first ever NMD apparel collection. Compromised of several outerwear pieces and accessories, the collection will also go on sale the second week of July, to tie in with the upcoming NMD footwear drop.
