Taking cues from Nike’s Air Max 97 Metallic Gold iteration, the Swoosh pays tribute to the OG silhouette by adding the eye-catching colorway to one of its latest releases.

Taking the canvas of the Air Max Zero, Nike dresses the silhouette in an all gold upper while hits of red and black are featured throughout the exclusive pair. Constructed of mesh and synthetic overlays, this Air Max Zero is rounded out by a black lining on the interior with a white midsole and outsole.

As part of Nike's roll out for the 20th anniversary of the Air Max 97 shoe, the sneakers release will tie in with the highly anticipated return of the Air Max 97 Silver Bullet iteration, which is set to release this weekend at Nike retailers. The Swoosh also plans to continue the push of the Air Max 97 sneakers with the upcoming release of the Gold Metallic Air Max 97 sneakers.

The Nike Air Max Zero Metallic Gold will release on Monday, April 17, at select Nike retailers and accounts and on Nike.com, for a suggested price of $130.

In related Nike news, yesterday the brand unveiled its latest basketball pack just in time for the start of the 2017 NBA Playoffs. Dubbed as the Flip the Switch pack, the set of sneakers are scheduled to drop at the top of May.
