Last month, Nike celebrated the annual Air Max Day with a number of surprise pop-up shops in various locations in major cities all throughout the month of March. Nike had sneakerheads rejoicing by re-releasing some of the most coveted Air Max sneakers and collaborations of all time.

Looking to continue pushing the Air Max silhouette in the month of April, the Swoosh announces the upcoming release of the highly anticipated Air Max 97 Silver Bullet. Re-released in Europe at the top of 2017, the Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet will finally make its way to the states in the coming days. As a replica of the 1997 model, this 2017 version of the shoe will be dressed entirely in a metallic silver colorway with hits of gym red featured on the Swooshes and outsoles, and black accents complementing the sock liner, outsoles and tongues of the shoes.

To help celebrate the 20th anniversary of this Air Max 97 Silver Bullet shoe, Nike will rerelease the coveted sneaker in the U.S., in limited quantities. Scheduled to release on Thurs., April 13, at select Nike Sportswear retailers, these Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet shoes will retail for a suggested price of $180.
