While the world awaits the release of the Air Jordan 4 Kaws and the Air Jordan 1 Royal Blue this weekend, Nike prepares to shake up the sneaker game as well with the upcoming drop of the Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempo. With images of the shoes surfacing on the web these past few weeks, today sneaker heads get a detailed look at a new and never before seen pair of Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempos.

Previewed earlier today by sneaker publication Shoesmasters, the pair of unreleased shoes features a gym red and white makeup. With dual-branding featured throughout the collaborative shoes, one of the highlights of these sneakers is the bold Supreme lettering wrapped around the side panels of each shoe. Supreme's collaboration on the Air More Uptempo will stay true to the original model of the shoes, with a few slight changes made for the New York streetwear retailer.

Debuting in 1996, the Nike Air More Uptempo was instant hit when it released among sneaker collectors and ball players. Now, 21 years later, the shoes are considered one of Nike's most popular silhouettes from their archives.

The Supreme x Nike red Suptempo has yet to receive a release date, but rumors point at a spring 2017 release. Make sure to check back with XXL in the coming days to find out more about this release and further Nike drops.
