Kobe Bryant may be retired now, but his sneaker line with Nike continues to pump out new iterations and designs. Most recently, the Swoosh introduced to sneakerheads and fans of the Black Mamba, the latest and newest silhouette from Nike and Kobe dubbed as the KOBE A.D. NXT.

Designed by Kobe in collaboration with long time Kobe-collaborator and Nike Senior designer, Eric Avar, the latest Nike x Kobe model conceptualizes and brings to life a rebirth of unconventional lacing system and entry mimicking a clam shell. The Flyknit design features a woven upper with circular patterns while another symbol of a lotus flower represents the rebirth of the Kobe sneakers in a traditional Hindu or Buddhist ideologies. The Nike Kobe A.D. NXT sneakers features a drop-in insole that integrates seamlessly with the outsole.

The Nike Kobe A.D. NXT launches globally on Sunday, April 3, in both grey and volt colorways, with a suggested retail price of $200. Look for the shoes to be available at select Nike Basketball retailers and online at Nike.com.
