Nike to Release Five Decades of Basketball Collection

Nike continues its roll out of exclusive releases by announcing the release of the "5 Decades of Basketball" collection. Paying homage to the five classic Swoosh sneakers, the sportswear brand gives these iconic silhouettes the popular Vachetta tan leather touch.

Partnering with Kith for the release of this collection, Nike gears up to release five classic sneakers that date back all the way from the 1970s till today. Compromised of the following silhouettes: the Air Force 1 Sport Lux, Blazer Studio Low, Air Foamposite Pro, Zoom Generation and the Flight Bonafide, the collection is regarded as one of the most anticipated releases of the year, with only a limited number of pairs available for purchase.

Nike's "5 Decades of Basketball" collection is the first release of its kind for Nike, as the focus is not only on the timeless sneaker iterations, but also on the popularity of the Vachetta tan overlay.

The Nike "5 Decades of Basketball" collection will be available at Kith retailers on Fri., Feb. 10, with a global release for the collection set for Sat., Feb. 18.
