Louisiana-based store, Sneaker Politics, is one of the most renowned sneaker shops in the U.S. and this month, to commemorate both the opening of their new store in New Orleans and the festivities that will take place across the city with All-Star Weekend, adidas and Sneaker Politics present a Mardi Gras-inspired Gazelle PK.

As part of their first collaboration with adidas, Sneaker Politics comes up with a stylish, and royal shoe based on the historic backstory of Mardi Gras. Paying homage to the past and present of the event, the iteration offers a versatile shoe that can be worn in all circumstances. Featuring a fleece-backed primeknit tongue with co-branded suede leather label and gold colored rivet. Dressed in a cream colored Primeknit upper with Mardi Gras-inspired multicolor patterns, the shoes also features a cream colored premium suede overlay while leather lining and co-branded leather insoles are included as well in this pair.

The collaboration between Sneaker Politics and adidas is scheduled to hit global Consortium accounts on Saturday, Mar. 4 with a pre-release taking place on Saturday, Feb. 18. The highly anticipated pair will retail for suggested price of $120.
