Kobe Bryant’s career may be over in the NBA, but his legacy on and off the field will live forever, and so will his signature sneaker line with Nike as the sportswear brand has unveiled the first shoe from Kobe since his post-retirement with the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this year.

Introducing today the Kobe A.D., the latest sneaker from Kobe's signature sneaker line continues the legacy of lightweight on-court basketball sneakers. The Kobe A.D., considered to be the lightest silhouette from The Black Mamba's collection, features a Zoom Air unit in the heel, Lunarlon foam in the midsole and a minimal rubber outsole. Highlights of the shoes include a more responsive, flexible cushioning and maximum court feel, for those individuals trying to hoop in these A.D.s. A breathable mesh upper with incorporated Dynamic Flywire, will provide a more secure lock down for quick changes of direction toward the basket or to cover an opponent.

The Nike Kobe A.D. is scheduled to debut at select Nike Basketball retailers and accounts on Tuesday, Nov. 22 and will also be available online at nike.com for a suggested price of $160. Check out detailed images of the upcoming shoe below and make sure to keep it locked with XXL for news surrounding the latest from Kobe and Nike.
