Today, adidas and Parley for the Oceans unveil their first performance products that include soccer jerseys for world-leading clubs Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, and the first UltraBOOST Uncaged Parley running shoe.

The soccer jerseys and UltraBOOST Uncaged Parley are the first apparel and footwear mass-produced with Parley Ocean Plastic. Both products are created with up-cycled marine plastic waste recovered via Parley interception and clean-up operations in coastal areas of the Maldives.

The UltraBOOST Uncaged Parley, with 7,000 pairs available, features a knitted upper created with 95 percent Ocean Plastic and 5 percent recycled polyester. The laces, heel cap base material, heel webbing, heel lining and the sock-liner cover are made of recycled materials. Its design is inspired by ocean waves.

Bayern Munich will wear the adidas x Parley soccer jerseys when it faces TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Saturday, Nov. 5. Real Madrid will wear the jerseys when it plays Real Sporting de Gijón on Saturday, Nov. 26. Created with Parley Ocean Plastic, up-cycled marine plastic debris, and water-based environmentally friendly prints, the all-white Real Madrid and all-red Bayern Munich kits feature the club logos, three stripes and sponsors’ logos in the same color for a unique look.

The UltraBOOST Uncaged Parley will be available to purchase in mid-November while the Parley soccer jerseys for Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will be available on adidas.com and in selected stores later this month.
