Adidas Originals Reveals the Eddie Huang Collaboration

In celebration of Eddie Huang and adidas Originals' forthcoming collab, the Three Stripes and Huang opened a ‘Eddie Huang Been Soigne’ three day pop-up restaurant to give consumers a preview of the anticipated collaboration while also providing a curated menu of small plates created by Huang, Chef Creole and Javier Wong Chong.

The very first collaboration between adidas Originals and Huang includes two new silhouettes. Taking the the classic Superstar 80s shoe, the Three Stripes gives the sneaker an all-around black look. Dressed in a black suede upper with a flame retardant coating, the shoe is also highlighted by a black steel shell-toe, non-slip black outsole and a fluorescent pink Eddie Huang signature logo on the tongue and heel-tab. The flame retardant black suede upper is made with a special fire retardant powder which is added during the dying process. The collaboration also features a crème colored adilette slip-on wrapped in an old-world map symbolizing the global culinary influence represented in Huang’s cuisine.

The Eddie Huang x adidas Originals collaboration will be available at adidas.com and select adidas retailers on Saturday, Oct. 8. The Superstar 80s will retail for suggested price of $150 while the slip-on retails for $50.
