Last night, Puma held a special event in New York City to honor the legendary NBA player, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, for his stellar NBA career and for the latest release of his Puma Clyde Wraith pack. The special event, powered by Foot Locker, featured a guest panel that included the likes of hip-hop superstar Fabolous, Roc Nation's Emory Jones, Jake Woolf, Rachel Johnson, Rebecca Harlow and Bobbito Garcia. Discussing all things basketball and style, the panel reminisced on the impact of Walt Frazier in the '70s during his time with the New York Knicks and how the NBA player changed the sneaker culture for good with the release of the Puma Clyde shoe.

Decked out with Walt Frazier memorabilia everywhere, the special exhibition space on West 34th St. showcased some rare and exclusive memorabilia from the former NBA player. From his bodacious suits to his long extensive archive of Puma Clyde sneakers, the Foot Locker event space covered all things Frazier from past to present. In honor of Frazier and Puma's newest release, the Knicks' announcer spoke to group of attendees about the latest "Clyde" release and how his signature sneaker line changed the game back in the days while still maintaining relevance in today's sneaker-driven culture.

After a five year absence in the market, the Clyde Wraith Pack is officially being released today. The Puma Clyde Wraith is inspired by Frazier’s love for fashion and flashy cars, which features a smooth and luxurious finish that takes after the impeccable shiny coat of Mr. Frazier’s sleek ride. The shoe is detailed by a premium patent leather upper with a kurim treatment in the back heel and a lace lock feature to tie back to the Wraith car grill.

The Puma Clyde Wraith Pack comes in two colorways – Black and Cordovan and is now amiable for purchase at Footlocker retailers and online at footlocker.com.
