A few days ago, images of an alternative Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard “ emerged online, causing a frenzy among sneakerheads. At the time, details on the shoe remained unknown, but today, Jordan Brand has officially unveiled images of the silhouette along with photos of another matching pair. Introducing the Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Away" and the Air Jordan XXXI "Shattered Backboard," Jordan brand showcases two new silhouettes that serve part of their Fall 2016 releases.

Inspired by the Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard," a shoe Michael Jordan wore during a 1985 exhibition game in Italy, this new version of the Air Jordan 1 is dressed in the original sail, starfish and black colorways of the sneaker, the only difference with this new version of the Air Jordan 1 dubbed the "Shattered Away" is the flip on the colorways of the shoe. Keeping the focus on the original "Shattered Backboard" AJ 1, Jordan Brand also unveils a new Air Jordan XXXI that finds inspiration from the original "Shattered Backboard" silhouette.

Jordan Brand's upcoming inspired "Shattered Backboard" silhouettes are just another set of dope releases from the Jumpman and two you do not want to miss out on. The Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Away" and the Air Jordan XXXI "Shattered Backboard" are set to drop on Saturday, Oct. 8, at select Jordan Brand retailers and online at Nike.com. Look for this Air Jordan 1 to retail for a suggested price of $160 while the Air Jordan XXXI will retail for $185.
