Here’s a Closer Look at the Bape x Adidas NMD R1 Collaboration

One of the most anticipated sneaker collabs of the year will be the the BAPE x adidas NMD R1 and with only a few months left for the release of these two silhouettes, BAPE has released official images of the sneakers to keep consumers enticed.

Set to release in November, the collaboration between A Bathing Ape and adidas will serve as another extension from both brands' longtime relationship. Taking into account the popularity of the adidas NMD R1 sneaker, BAPE gives the shoe a complete makeover with its signature camo pattern. Releasing in Olive and Black/Gray colorways, these NMD sneakers will feature adidas' innovative Boost technology on the midsole and include A Bathing Ape branding on the heel tab, canvas and insole of the shoes.

Adidas and BAPE look to follow the success of their past collaborations with the upcoming release of these NMD sneakers. Just last year, both brands caused a frenzy among sneakerheads with the drop of the Superstar Camo silhouettes, so this release should be just as big, if not bigger.
